Secrets of Hawaii : Halona Blow Hole |
Description:
The Halona Blow Hole is a well known and often visited tourist spot
on Oahu's south shore. Many of the circle island tours will make a stop at this
site. What is not well know is that the Halona Blow Hole is not at its most majestic
water spotting self on most days and the time given by these tours is often not
enough to see the true power of the blow hole. This stop is best seen on a windy
day at high tide. While on this side of the
island you should also try and see Hanamuma Bay,
Makapu'u Point Lighthouse,
Koko Head Botanical Garden
and Sandy Beach. |
