The USS Arizona Memorial |
The USS Arizona Memorial attracts thousands visitors a day and it's
one of the most famous tourist spots in Hawaii. Take a boat ride
courtesy of the U.S. Navy and pay tribute to our nations fallen
heroes.
Tickets are given out on a first come basis and there are only a
limited amount of tickets given out each day. So if you go, try an
arrive early. By early, I mean before 8:30am. This will ensure you of
a ticket and make the wait to go over to the Memorial short. If you
end up with a wait longer than 3 hours, it is a good opportunity to
see the USS Missouri or the Blowfin Submarine.
Because of
security concerns you will not be allowed to bring into the memorial
any backpacks, purses, or other bags. Each time I have been, they
did allow my camera bag, but don't count on it.
