  Description:

       The Polynesian Cultural Center, located in Laie, Hawaii shows the visitor seven different cultures from the islands of Polynesia. In the Samoan village you can see coconut tree climbing and the preparations from husking, opening and milking of the coconut. The island of Hawaii offers tasting of freshly made poi. In Tahiti take part in traditional songs and dance. Each island offers a glimpse into the lives of the native people. There is also a colorful "Rainbows of Paradise" canoe pageant held each day.
 

Directions:

    From Waikiki take the Pali Highway over the mountains to Kamehameha Highway using the Kaneohe exit continue to the H-3 past the Likelike Highway. Past Windward Community College. Travel for another 30-40 minutes along Kamehameha Highway to reach Laie.
